Alternative splicing in GAPD-2 of Anolis carolinensis. Alternative splicing seems to govern the proline-rich domain presence in GAPD-2 of a lizard Anolis carolinensis. If the second exon is spliced, the protein product will lack the proline-rich domain, otherwise it will possess this domain. A) Map of GAPD-2 gene constructed based on both Ensembl and EST data.
