Temporal variation of aphid clones in Lasius flavus mounds over three years (2008, 2009, 2010). Geoica utricularia (a), Tetraneura ulmi (b), and Forda marginata (c). Colors indicate MLGs and correspond to colors used in Figures2 and 3. Grey circles refer to ant mounds where a focal species was not sampled in a particular year. Data are presented for those mounds in which the same species was found in at least two of the three consecutive years.
