  1. Values include number of samples (N), haplotypic diversity (HD) and heterozygosity (HO) ± standard error (S.E.), number of haplotypes (NH) and alleles (NA), number of private haplotypes (NPH) and alleles (NPA), inbreeding coefficient (FIS), allelic richness (AR), and proportion of full siblings (Sib) determined from Colony v2.0.5.0 [55] analyses. Microsatellite results from these seven loci are statistically equivalent to those obtained from nine loci [30]. Latitude and longitude for each location are provided in Additional file 10.
