Known localities of the North American vaejovid scorpions Pseudouroctonus reddelli and Pseudouroctonus sprousei . Sampled localities indicated with black circles (abbreviations in Table 3). Other localities indicated with grey circles (surface populations) and white circles (cave populations), based on records from the literature [29, 30, 74, 75]. The Balcones Escarpment that forms the southern edge of the Edwards Plateau in Texas is delineated.
