  1. Coding markers are genes as annotated in EnsEMBL and non-coding markers are non-coding conserved regions (taken from the UCSC 28-way alignment). A human marker (coding or non-coding) conserved only at between human and opossum is labeled as metatheria marker. A human marker conserved both with opossum and chicken is labelled amniote marker.
