Chronogram with divergence time estimates of the ovenbird-woodcreeper clade. The divergence times and confidence intervals (grey bars) were estimated under a relaxed clock model implemented in Beast 1.4.7 [34]. For the calibration of the chronogram the postulated separation of Acanthisitta from all other passerines in the phylogeny was used. The letters A - J (on the right) correspond to the clades for which diversification rates have been compared (see Table 2).
