  1. The mean differences in the life cycle parameters are shown for the three pairs of genotypes: unselected control – highly susceptible, unselected control – refractory, and highly susceptible – refractory. Each mean difference is based on the 9 combinations of group (black, red, green) and environment (uninfected, infected, stressed). A paired t-test was used to test whether the mean difference between the two genotypes was significantly different from zero and the p-value (p) is shown. The abbreviations of the life cycle parameters are defined in Table 4. After correcting for multiple comparisons, 0.05/21 = 0.002, none of differences are statistically significant.
