  1. Extensive gene flow between the grasshoppers Sigaus australis1 and S. childi2 in sympatry was revealed using MIGRATE-N with 74 RAD-seq SNP makers. Theta ? is an estimate of population size, ? = 4Ne? in the SNPs, where Ne is population size and ? is mutation rate, population size was generally large as is expected for grasshoppers. Mutation scaled migration rates (M) were converted into Nm (number of migrants per generation) via ?1M2->1 = 4 Nm1. The results show extensive gene flow in both directions.
