Single growth process (SGP). SGP is the common “generator” for both quasispecies and GARD. Using SGPs, the quasispecies and the GARD formalism are compared in this work. An SGP entails the growth via molecular accretion of a compositional assembly from size N_max/2 to N_max (Methods).
