Idiograms represent partial karyotypes with chromosomes bearing 45S rDNA (red signals) and 5S rDNA (green signals). Polymorphic rDNA sites are in brackets. Note higher numbers of 5S rDNA sites in the majority of endemic species (whose taxonomic names are in bold italics). Note: in P. elongata, only the karyotype version from one individual is presented, to avoid confusion due to the high number and variability of rDNA sites in this species
