Cladogram representation of the findings regarding the annotation of GULO in 18 Mollusca species. The species in which GULO is likely present are highlighted in green, the species where the presence or absence of GULO cannot be inferred are highlighted in blue and the species where GULO is probably absent are highlighted in red. The pink, light blue and olive green regions differentiate the Mollusca species analyzed into three classes, respectively Gastropoda, Bivalvia and Cephalopoda. The cladogram branches represent the taxonomic relationship between the species analyzed, depicted as in [30, 35,36,37,38]
