PIC between log transformed Rubisco kinetic parameters, Rubisco per leaf total soluble protein, anatomical and physiological parameters of 11 orchids and bromeliads (see Tables 1, 4 and Additional file 1: Table S1). Rubisco Michaelis-Menten constant for (Kc), maximum rate of carboxylation (kcatc), carboxylation catalytic efficiency (kcatc/Kc), Rubisco per leaf total soluble protein ([Rubisco]/[TSP]), leaf mass area (LMA), leaf thickness and leaf δ13C.
