Many new cases are detected of prevalent recurrent sequence evolution (RSE) between paralogs in eukarotes. Pervasiveness and magnitude of recurrent sequence evolution are plotted for each family, with averages \(\langle P\rangle =3.7, \langle \overline {Z}_{F}\rangle =3.4\) for N=2883. Distributions are shown in the right and top panel. Dotted lines denote top 5% of distributions.
