Amino acid residues activated by the adenylation domains of McyB1 and McyC are indicated by red and green, respectively. Mdha is N-methyl-dehydroalanine, D-MeAsp is 3-methyl-aspartic acid and Adda is 3-amino-9-methoxy-2,6,8,-trimethyl-10-phenyl-4,6-decandienoic acid.
