Egg survival and number under different treatments. A) Both egg number and egg survival are significantly lower when in the presence of an Aged carcass. B) Eggs collected from an Aged carcass show increased survival when sterilized, indicating the negative effect of high bacterial numbers surrounding Aged carcasses.
