Minimum spanning network of four of the six mtDNA (COI 519 bp) haplogroups (Figure 4a) within the Sigaus australis grasshopper complex, show sharing (grey) of identical haplotypes between S. childi (white) and S. australis (black). Haplotype spot size is proportional to number of individuals with a particular haplotype and branch length estimates nucleotide differences.
